Katerina Sakkas is a Sydney-based figurative painter.  Since completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours degree at the University of NSW’s College of Fine Arts in 1999 she has exhibited solo three times and shown in eight curated group exhibitions.  In 2008 she curated an exhibition on the theme of repetition at Mary Place Gallery, Sydney.  Her most recent solo show, Whistle and I’ll Come To You, took place in March-April 2014 at Sydney’s Sheffer Gallery.  She also works as a freelance film writer, and writes about horror at
